THE CULTURAL SOUNDING
$4,700.00

The pain: You sense something is shifting in your brand category, but the dashboards show nothing wrong. The numbers haven't moved yet. Yet the ground feels different.

What it does: A focused, two to three-week netnographic read of the cultural currents around your brand or category. Where meaning is forming, where it is eroding, where tension is opening into opportunity. Our work begins where conventional research ends.

What you receive: A concentrated diagnostic, written in plain language. Designed to be read in a single sitting and acted on.

Investment: From $4,700

THE BEARINGS
$3,700.00

The pain: A campaign is in development. The strategy reads well on paper, the creative looks strong, and something quiet tells you it might be off, but you can't name what. Most campaigns that fail in market did not fail strategically or creatively. They failed culturally.

What it does: A pre-launch cultural read of the campaign concept, the audience as they actually live now, and the cultural ground the work will land on. Catches the assumptions that have aged out before media commits.

What you receive: A short, sharp document. What to strengthen, what to adjust, what to drop. Delivered in 24-48 hours.

Investment: From $3,700

THE WAYFINDING RETAINER
$3,500.00

The pain: One-off engagements give you snapshots. But culture doesn’t pause to be photographed. You want ongoing cultural counsel inside your marketing rhythm, from someone who knows your brand, your team, and your territory.

What it does: Embedded advisory over six to eighteen months. Monthly Field Notes specific to your brand, periodic Soundings, mentorship for your internal team, presence in the rooms where strategy is being made. Designed to be there every step, for counsel, for guidance, backed by not just our research but by our founder’s 15 years as a CMO as well.

What you receive: A working relationship, not a deliverable schedule. Led by a Pilot. Some waters require a pilot.

Investment: From $3,500 / month

THE CULTURAL ATLAS
$15,000.00

The pain: You are building a multi-year strategy, repositioning a brand, or going to the board with a direction that has to hold. The data you already have looks at where your market has been. You need a read on where the culture is going. What’s unfolding. Now.

What it does: A deep netnographic survey of the cultural terrain around your category; the emerging codes, rituals, behaviours the eroding assumptions, the tensions forming inside consumer culture that will shape the next year or more. The strategic foundation document.

What you receive: The Atlas. A deep, considered document the team will return to over and over. Cultural terrain mapped, strategic implications named, the questions to keep asking made explicit.

Investment: From $15,000

THE TERRAIN SURVEY (UX Research)
$12,000.00

The pain: A digital product, service, or experience is in development or under review. The team has assumptions about who will use it, how, and why. The assumptions feel reasonable. They have not been tested in the field. Most product failures are not failures of execution, they are failures to map the territory accurately before building.

What it does: A focused UX research engagement combining digital ethnography, contextual observation, and structured interviews with the people who will actually use what is being built. The work goes beyond usability testing into the cultural and behavioural context that determines whether a product will land. Conducted by the principal, in-field.

What you receive: A clear, defensible read on what works, what doesn't, and what the team has assumed wrongly (or maybe rightly, but isn’t proven). Delivered as a working document the product and design teams can act on.

Investment: From CAD $12,000 per defined project.
